Description

WWII German Mauser M1884/98 Bayonet. Ricasso is marked "cof" over "43" which stands for Carl Eickhorn 1943 and the reverse has "3763" over "Y", the Y code was supposedly the last year of production before the war ended. The wood grips show light wear with a few chips and scratches. The blade finish looks great, it has not been sharpened but the tip is sharp. The pommel has some minor surface rust with light pitting on one side and is double Waffenamt marked "WaA519"

Lock button is functional. No scabbard. Length of the blade measures 9 7/8" (1" wide x 3/16" thick spine) and length of the bayonet is 15 1/8".
