That Kid by Hasbro from 1967 - He Talks! This doll speaks all 5 phrases. Yes indeed he works! Please examine the pictures carefully. I repaired/replaced most all of the internal mechanisms. Both the battery cover and the slingshot are replicas and are painted to the best match I could get. The head, hair, and eyes are in great condition. The pants are in very good condition with both the zipper and snap functioning like new. The shirt is faded and the red color ran into the white; probably from someone washing it in the past. For some reason a previous owner also cut a large hole in the back of the shirt  so please review picture carefully. I cleaned the plastic body inside and out. The white rubber on the shoes is dry and brittle and flaking off which is typical for these dolls from 1967. The socks have long ago lost their elasticity. The battery compartment is clean with the exception of what appears to be a mark from a permanent marker. The internal plastic that the plastic rivets on the body sides attach to are broken off inside the doll and I did not have a means to replace them but the 3 screws that also hold him together are firmly affixed. Please note that this doll is over 50 years old and uses technology of that era. Springs, levers, gears, and a motor and belt to drive the record. No microprocessor, no software, no Bluetooth, WiFi, rebooting or resetting! Please read and understand the included copy of the original instructions. This doll is meant for a collector. I cannot guarantee that it would hold up to use by a child. As stated, everything works but I have repaired many of these dolls and they all have one thing in common with that being broken internal mechanisms caused by excessive force on the parts which activate the sounds. If it does not work, forcing the issue only causes parts to break. It is also very important to use a FRESH STRONG BATTERY. Neither the hat, the original packaging, or a battery is included. I do not accept returns so please make sure you want this before you bid. That said, he does indeed work!
