1950's Minnesota Kenworth Tractor Trailer Truck SJ Groves Contractors Photo Vtg
---  Original period 8x10 photo, I can read a little of the license plate, I'm pretty sure it's Minnesota with a 1950's year date.  Logo on the door is for a S.J. Groves and Sons Contractors.  This was with a collection of Kenworth truck photos, most of which where in the Seattle area but a few of them are not.  This looks like a period enlargement from a 35mm negative, the details are grainy (as opposed to how a large or medium format negative print would look with sharp crisp details).  If you look at the sky area you can see it is lighter above at the top with a clearly defined separation between the lower darker area, this could have been a contrast filter applied in the enlarger or some kind of developing artifact. Gloss finish shows some handling creases, you can see the silver content in the bluish reflections of the black in the silver gelatin based paper (which authenticates the vintage).
